IEEE IMS 2025: ISAC for Physiological Motion Monitoring
Executive Summary
This talk is part of the IMS 2025 Workshop exploring the integration of FR1/mmWave (FR2) OpenAirInterface (OAI) with advanced technologies such as O-RAN, MIMO, and Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS).
Dr. Zhengโs presentation focuses on the Integration of Sensing and Communication (ISAC) for physiological motion monitoring using FR2 systems.
The session will introduce the use of TMYTEK frequency converters and beamformers with FR2 OAIBOX to demonstrate vital-sign detection and non-contact sensing applications in healthcare, smart building monitoring, and energy efficiency.
By combining sensing and communication functions within the same mmWave infrastructure, this work illustrates a pathway toward multi-purpose, intelligent 6G systems.
