Xiaochan Xue is an Assistant Professor in Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She received her Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, NJ, in 2025, and her B.S. in Communications Engineering from Jilin University, China, in 2017. Her research currently focuses on AI-assisted FutureG systems, including mmWave sensing, Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), Physical-Layer Security (PLS), AI-native RAN/O-RAN architectures, and the use of Generative AI for both performance improvement and security. She builds experimental testbeds and edge IoT platforms to prototype secure, intelligent, and privacy-preserving wireless and Cyber Physical Systems.
